Thor arrived in February 2010 as a rehome from his breeder. He was to be a companion for Issie who at the time was the only dog here. Terri, his breeder, had him returned about a year earlier do to the passing of his former owner. A wonderfully stable and healthy boy, Thor is quite the gentleman. I’m very thankful to Terri for allowing Thor to be a part of our family.
Shows
May 2010: On a whim we decided to enter Thor at the BSCA National. His very first dog show at age 8! Thor was awarded Best of Opposite in Veteran
Sweepstakes (judge Tami Worley) and later that week 2nd in Open Dog and Reserve Winners dog (breeder/judge Teddi Gill). He didn’t put a foot down wrong
and garnered quite the fan club while there. Needless to say, it was a fun National.
October 2010: Thor heads to Canada for the Frazier Valley DF shows for some practice. Four days, three BOB’s and 6 points for the weekend. Great start!!
January 2011: Thor does 8 AKC shows, and is Winners Dog at 5 to finish his Championship with 3 majors!!
May 2011: Thor heads back to Canada and finishes his Canadian Championship.
He’s retired from the show ring now except for an occasional outing in Veterans.
